We did LOTS of cooking, baking, and crafting while he was here. Here is my favorite project we made. I have been saving wine corks for as long as I can remember, with the hopes of making them into a cork board, and thanks to James' parents helping me out and sending me lots as well, I finally had enough to make my bulletin board! Now it is so pretty I don't think I even want to put any bulletins on it! The frame James and I got over the summer at an Antique store in downtown Marysville, Ohio after we visited his garden at Scotts one weekend. Some of the corks are very special - the cork from the bottle my parents sent his parents at Christmas, the cork from the bottle we drank when James first visited me in DC, and the cork from the bottle we were drinking when we first kissed! Anyway, we spent all night one night laying the corks out, and trimming them so they would fit exactly, and then the next morning we got up early and hot glued all the suckers down! The board turned out beautifully and I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!!
