Last night my little sister, Sarah, graduated from high school! She graduated from Grimsley High School in Greensboro, NC (I myself graduated from Grimsley 10 years earlier).
We drove down to NC on Saturday and drove back to DC late last night. Her graduation ceremony was at 8:30 PM so we got home around 3 AM, but it was SO WORTH IT! Because this is my last week of work, I really couldn't miss today or take vacation - so we drove all night. But thankfully I am working from home today so we could sleep in and I didn't have to put on work clothes :P
Anyway, here are some awesome pictures from the weekend! Special thanks to James for sneaking down close to the graduates for some really spectacular close-up pictures!! Sarah even graduated "Cum Laude"!!! Congrats again to her!!
We are so excited because this is my last week of work with my current employer - and then Saturday we drive to Norfolk, VA where we meet up with my family and James' family, and then we all go on a 5-day cruise to Bermuda together! It will be the first cruise ever for me, my Mom, and my sister. James' parents and my parents have cruised many times, and of course James WORKED on a cruise ship for 7 months so he is a pro at cruising! We are so excited about the cruise, about Bermuda, and about getting to relax before we move to Columbus!
