James has been here in DC for two glorious weeks so far and we are having a ball!!! Luckily I'm not traveling this month, and as luck would have it further, everyone else on my team IS traveling this month. So that means I'm holding down the fort for the entire team, but I can essentially do so from home since I am having to communicate with everyone over phone and email anyway (and not face-to-face in the office). So this means we're having the time of our lives!!! James has been cooking a LOT...totally spoiling me! Aside from the fact that's basically cooked every meal every day, he's also made some delicious pretzel rolls (twice!), olive tapenade (my favorite!), homemade Larabars (delish!), lots of guacamole..the list goes on and on! I actually have been taking pictures of all the wonderful things he's made and will post someday soon.
I've been neglecting this blog, sad to say, because we've been working out a TON to prepare for the two half marathons we have coming up (the first is next weekend in Greensboro, NC - we'll be walking the Owl's Roost Rumble race with my Stepmom, and the second is May 8 in Indianapolis, the Indy500 MiniMarathon). And any free time we do have has been spent on our wedding website!!! Drum roll, please.....

In other news, my personal laptop has a TERRIBLE virus - a Trojan virus or something - right now, so I'm only working off my work laptop or James' laptop while we try to quarantine it and get it fixed. Sometimes having a PC is so frustrating, James' Mac doesn't ever have problems like this!!! Ugh!! Please say a little prayer for Vonzelle the Dell that she makes a speedy recovery!
